Our items are made by hand, we may not have every item in-stock, please allow about 2 weeks for order completion. As with any handmade product you will find small variations between finished items. Small variations of tone or specks of other colours within an item, as well as occasional small slubs in the cotton and sewing should be embraced as signs of a genuine handmade product.

Important Notes About Colour:
All dyeing is done by hand in small batches, so dyelots will vary slightly. Click on the small image of a stack of pillowcases to the left to see the typical variation for this colour. Each computer monitor will display colours somewhat differently, so use our colour images as guidelines – the actual colour may not be exactly as displayed by your computer.
Important Notes About Size:
We sew up all of our printed duvet covers in king and queen sizes and then size the queen ones down if necessary. To order single or double covers please choose ‘queen or smaller’ as the size here and then alert us to your desired size in the comments box at checkout. If you don’t alert us a queen cover will get ordered.
|single||66″ (168cm)||88″ (224cm)|
|double||77″ (196cm)||88″ (224cm)|
|queen||86″ (218cm)||88″ (224cm)|
|king||102″ (259cm)||88″ (224cm)|
All sizes are approximate.
As our prints are made from fashion fabrics the width of the fabric is limited to about 42″across. This means the seams on printed duvet covers (the top fabric) are placed closer together. The centre panel measures approximately 42″ wide and on a queen there would be two side panels of about 23″ wide. On a king, the centre panel would also be approximately 42″ wide but the side panels would measure approximately 28 inches wide. The images on the left show what a printed cover looks like on a queen bed. The lines in the photos on the right show where the seams are placed. Click on any image for a larger view.
All bedding should be washed prior to first use. Always wash in COLD water and tumble dry HOT. Dyed bedding should be washed keeping each colour separate for at least the first wash and dry. After that simply wash similar colours together. Do not hang dyed bedding to dry, use a dryer. For best results during the first few washes, please make sure your bedding goes into the dryer right after it is done washing. Don’t let it sit wet. Unbleached bedding should be washed in HOT water for the first wash. After that, follow the washing instructions as detailed above.
